What does “dry hire” mean?
  • As a dry hire mobile bar, Silk & Spirit does not provide or sell alcohol. Clients supply their own alcohol, and we provide the luxury bar setup, professional bartending service, mixers, garnishes, menu planning, and elevated guest experience.
What types of events do you serve?
  • We specialize in weddings, private parties, corporate events, brand activations, showers, milestone celebrations, and curated social gatherings.
How many guests can you accommodate?
  • Our packages are designed to flex based on your event size. We can accommodate intimate gatherings as well as larger celebrations, with service recommendations customized based on guest count, event length, and menu complexity.
Do you help us determine how much alcohol to purchase?
  • Yes — every booked client receives guidance on estimated alcohol quantities based on guest count, selected cocktails, and event duration to help simplify planning.
Can we choose our own cocktails?
  • Absolutely. We offer curated signature cocktail experiences and can also help design a personalized menu tailored to your event style, preferences, and theme.
Do you offer mocktails or non-alcoholic options?
  • Yes — we can absolutely craft elevated mocktails, espresso offerings, hydration stations, or specialty non-alcoholic beverage experiences.

Are you licensed and insured?

Do you travel?
  • Yes — we proudly serve San Diego and surrounding areas. Travel fees may apply depending on distance, venue logistics, and event location.
What are your setup requirements?
  • Our trailer generally requires adequate parking/access space of about 20 feet and a safe, level setup area. Water and power requirements may vary depending on your selected services, and we’ll discuss all logistics during planning.
How far in advance should we book?
  • We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weddings and peak event seasons, to secure your date.
What is required to reserve our date?
  • A signed agreement and non-refundable deposit are required to officially secure your event date.
Can Silk & Spirit serve indoors or outdoors?
  • Depending on venue access and logistics, we can often accommodate both indoor-adjacent and outdoor event setups.
