What is Silk & Spirit?
  • Silk & Spirit is a luxury dry hire mobile bar based in San Diego, delivering elevated bartending, curated cocktails, and unforgettable hospitality from our custom-designed speakeasy-inspired trailer.
What does “dry hire” mean?
  • ​As a dry hire mobile bar, Silk & Spirit does not provide or sell alcohol. Clients supply their own alcohol, and we provide the luxury trailer setup, professional bartending service, mixers, garnishes, menu planning and more.
Do you only offer your mobile bar trailer?

  • Our luxury mobile bar trailer is our signature experience and is what most clients choose for weddings and larger celebrations. However, if your venue doesn't allow the trailer or you're hosting a smaller event indoors, we also offer an elegant satellite bar setup that delivers the same elevated hospitality and attention to detail. We'll help determine which option is the best fit based on your venue, guest count, and event vision.

What if my venue can't accommodate the trailer?
  • No problem. If trailer access isn't possible, we can often provide our satellite bar setup instead. It offers the same professional bartending service and premium presentation in a more compact footprint, making it ideal for indoor venues, private homes, and locations with limited access.

  • We specialize in weddings, private parties, corporate events, brand activations, showers, milestone celebrations, and curated social gatherings.

How many guests can you accommodate?
  • We can accommodate intimate gatherings as well as larger celebrations, with service recommendations customized based on guest count, event length, and menu complexity.
Do you help us determine how much alcohol to purchase?
  • Yes — every booked client receives guidance on estimated alcohol quantities based on guest count, selected cocktails, and event duration to help simplify planning. We will also provide you with preferred locations to purchase the alcohol needed and will setup a meeting time to pickup the alcohol from you. All other ingredients, garnishes and consumables are provided by Silk & Spirit.
Can we choose our own cocktails?
  • Absolutely. We offer curated signature cocktail experiences and can also help design a personalized menu tailored to your event style, preferences, and theme.
Do you offer mocktails or non-alcoholic options?
  • Yes — we can absolutely craft elevated mocktails, espresso offerings, or specialty non-alcoholic beverages.
What is included with a Silk & Spirit booking?
  • Luxury mobile bar trailer or satellite setup (or both)
  • Professional licensed and insured bartender service
  • Custom cocktail menu planning

Are you licensed and insured?
  • Yes — Silk & Spirit operates professionally and carries appropriate insurance coverage and California issued certification. Requirements may vary depending on venue and event type.
Do you travel?
  • Yes — we proudly serve San Diego and surrounding areas, La Jolla, Coronado, Del Mar, Encinitas, Carlsbad, Rancho Santa Fe, Temecula, Orange County, Los Angeles, Palm Springs and more. Travel fees may apply depending on distance, venue logistics, and event location.
What are your setup requirements?
  • Our trailer generally requires adequate parking/access space of about 20 feet and a safe, level setup area. Water and power requirements may vary depending on your selected services, and we’ll discuss all logistics during planning.
How far in advance should we book?
  • We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weddings and peak event seasons, to secure your date.
What is required to reserve our date?
  • A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to officially secure your event date.
Can Silk & Spirit serve indoors or outdoors?
  • Depending on venue access and logistics, we can often accommodate both indoor-adjacent and outdoor event setups.
